The Pareto Principle states that 80% of outcomes often come from 20% of causes. Taken to its logical extreme, this means that 64% of outcomes come from 4% of causes. While this may sound absurd, our mission is to present you with that top 4% of takeaways from books, documentaries, short-form content and more so that you can take away 64% of the informational benefits contained within it. Yes, that’s a pretty exaggerated elevator pitch.
But, Two Lessons is a VERY unique way of recommending non-fiction books, documentaries, online courses and more for you to explore further. We think you’ll get a lot of benefit out of it.
Traditional book reviews send to summarize everything. We don’t think you should judge a book by its cover OR by a “summary review.” Judge it by its best ideas. Consider us a 90-second movie trailer for books, documentaries, online courses and more that present big ideas.
We think you will be more easily able to judge what material to watch or read from cover to cover… and what material to skip.
Note: While we generally try to present material from multiple different “sides,” we do skew towards material presenting scientific evidence.
